Avian Night Sky is part of a collaborative project with visual artists Marybeth Garrigan and Petra Johnita Lommen. MB and P shared single canvases and created images of birds and their connection to creation, feminine energy, and the night sky. I created music inspired by the paintings. Some of the songs are perhaps more representational than others, depending where my musical freedom led me and also where the listener’s mind takes them.
